The American Dream- Kennebunkport
Kennebunkport is known around the world as a beloved summer destination, but beyond its beautiful coastline and iconic harbor is a community deeply rooted in connection and giving back.
In this episode of The American Dream, we take to the water aboard the Pineapple Ketch to explore Kennebunkport’s maritime heritage and the role the harbor has played in shaping the town for generations. Then, we head to the iconic Nonantum Resort to discover Gather For Good, a unique initiative that turns an ordinary meal into an opportunity to support the local community.
On select evenings, the Nonantum donates 10% of restaurant sales to a local nonprofit. For this gathering, those proceeds benefit the Kennebunkport Consolidated School PTA—meaning both visitors and local residents dining at the resort can help support programs and opportunities for KCS students simply by sharing a meal.
